Hi Darlene!
I am so happy to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for the end of the summer. This is a great time to visit as many kids have already gone back to school and you can enjoy the start of fall activities during your trip!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom. I love the special Halloween decorations, the festive snacks, the "not-so-scary" tricks and treats and the incredible entertainment that is all exclusive to the party.
Entry to the party requires a separate ticket from
standard theme park tickets, which must be purchased separately from your vacation package. Your standard theme park tickets will allow you entry into Magic Kingdom during the day and during Extra Magic Hours if you are a Disney Resort hotel Guest. Magic Kingdom will close at 7:00 p.m. for day Guests, at which time the party will start. Once the party starts, only Guests with tickets to that evening's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party and wearing party wristbands will be able to enjoy the attractions in the park and the party's special entertainment and events. You can purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party by calling 407-939-1872.
If you will not be attending the party, I would recommend that you plan on enjoying the evening activities at
Disney Springs or exploring some of the dining opportunities at one the Disney Resort hotels. I would recommend that you consider dining at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Contemporary Resort and then watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the hotel.
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
