Hi Lark,
Welcome to planDisney!
Planning for a larger group can be as exciting as it is nerve wracking! If you are trying to book a
vacation package for seven, you can certainly do that online, but you will need to make sure you are searching for
Disney Resorts Collection hotels that can accommodate seven in the room and, be aware that there may not be availability for the dates of your visit if nothing shows as available.
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, for example, has 2 Bedroom Villas that sleep up to eight adults and Treehouse Villas that can sleep up to nine adults. Disney's Old Key West Resort has 2 Bedroom Villas that can sleep up to nine adults. If you have six adults and an infant, you should also be able to see availability for
Disney's Art of Animation Family Suites and
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort.
As you book that vacation package, once you select your
theme park tickets, you should be good to go! After you reserve the package, make sure that confirmation is linked in your
My Disney Experience account. Then, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for each day that you plan to visit a theme park. Once you try to make
advanced dining reservations, you may have trouble booking reservations for a party of seven, so I do suggest trying to make a reservation for three and a reservation for four around the same time. You will need to enlist the help of another member of your party who has a My Disney Experience account to make sure you can book those dining reservations for similar times. For example, you could book a reservation at 5:00 p.m. while the other member of your party could book a reservation for 5:10 p.m. Then, when you arrive to the restaurant, ask a Cast Member if you could be seated together. Although not guaranteed, Cast Members try their best to accommodate requests!
Lark, I wish you the best as you plan for the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
