If I book a vac. during a free dining period and do the payment plan, but want to upgrade my dining pkg, do I have to pay the upgrade diff. at time of booking or can it be paid in pymts.also? How does it work if only 3 out of 6 days fall under free dine?

Hi Kirstin. It sure sound like you're planning for a delicious Walt Disney World vacation and with a pixie-dusted free dining promotion, you'll be able to eat like royalty!

You are more than welcome to pay the difference to upgrade your dining plan from the one offered as part of the free dining vacation package special offer. The deposit will still be the same amount with the remaining balance due in full by 45 days prior to your check-in date and you can make payments up until that time. Your stay can extend outside of the available dates and you'll still receive the free dining plan for your entire length of stay however, you must check-in during one of the available dates listed in the promotion. At this time, free dining is currently available for Disney Visa Cardholders however, it is anticipated to be released to the general public soon so keep a close watch on the Special Offers page of the Disney website!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
