Hi there, Vanessa! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. It makes my day to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!
Well, if you are considering a stay at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, it sounds as if your vacation planning is off to a fantastic start! The Polynesian is one of my very favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts, and since the Deluxe Studios have been enhanced with a new, gorgeous tropical blue and green color scheme and oh-so-convenient pull-down Murphy beds instead of pull-out sofas, I'm even more excited for a magical stay here! With its laid-back tropical vibe, prime location, fabulous
dining options, and
one of the best pools in all of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is the perfect setting for a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Oh, and did I mention DOLE Whip?! Vanessa, let's chat about how to get you to this magical paradise!
While the Deluxe Studios at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are larger than most Studios, have two bathrooms, and do sleep up to 5 adults, if you are accustomed to the spaciousness of a One-Bedroom Villa, I can definitely understand why you would want to book two Studios. You can easily do this on
the DVC website by booking one Deluxe Studio for your dates and then immediately booking another Studio with the same view for the same dates. Since you will have made two separate reservations, just
contact Member Services and put in a request for adjoining Studios. While this is just a request and cannot be guaranteed, the Cast Members will do everything they can to honor this request, and since there are so many adjoining Deluxe Studios at the Polynesian Villas, I think your chances are pretty good!
When you are booking your amazing Polynesian Villas accommodations, if possible, I would suggest booking one of the Studios in your name and one in the name of another adult Guest (at least 18 years old) to avoid the possible complication of having your name on two room reservations. Also, just be aware, Vanessa, that you will need one adult over the age of 18 on each Resort reservation and in each room, even if adjoining. If you are at all concerned about availability for your dates when your booking window opens, I recommend booking the reservations with just one adult listed on each to save time typing in all of your Guests. Then, once your reservations are confirmed and you have more time, modify the reservations to add your other Guests at your leisure.
While we are chatting about Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, did you hear that Disney Vacation Club announced that they will be expanding their offerings at the Polynesian?! While there have not been too many details announced yet, they did say that it is projected to open in late 2024. Eek! I am SO excited about this! Keep an eye on the DVC website and
Disney Parks Blog for official news on this fabulous and oh-so-exciting expansion as soon as it drops!
Vanessa, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have THE most magical stay at the Polynesian! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
