Hi Joe,
We are delighted to see you stopping by planDisney with a question!
Well, let me say I am tickled to see that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort! It sounds like you plan to book a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and purchase theme park tickets. Since you are looking to buy tickets for different days, you will need to select those
theme park tickets separate from your resort hotel. If you booked a
vacation package, everyone on the reservation would need to have the same number of theme park ticket days.
Once you book the resort hotel and purchase theme park tickets, make sure that the resort hotel and tickets are linked in
My Disney Experience. Also check to make sure everyone in your party is connected to your
Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience. As long as everyone is connected in your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience, you should be able to link their theme park tickets.
I also encourage you to use Disney MagicMobile Service in My Disney Experience. With
Disney MagicMobile Service, you can create digital passes (tied to your theme park tickets) to use when you enter the park. Or, consider purchasing
MagicBand+. My family actually loves MagicBands because they allow us to scan in at the parks, unlock our resort hotel rooms, and scan with PhotoPass photographers without using our phones.
Joe, as you continue to plan, I trust you are able to make that resort hotel reservation, purchase theme park tickets, and get them all linked in My Disney Experience. Last but not least, do not forget the photos.
Memory Maker has been such a good value for my family. Our girls love the attraction photos. It's always fun to see who remembered the "pose" we decided to do for the camera (safely, of course)! If you have other questions, please drop back by planDisney! We are always here to help.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
