Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carla!
It's a treat for me to answer questions for residents of the Keystone State. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and I went to college there too so it will always hold a special place in my heart.
After hearing all the details of a trip you're planning to Walt Disney World Resort, of course another person would want to come along. No one wants to miss out on that kind of fun! As long as adding a person to your room does not result in your travel party exceeding the maximum occupancy levels for your room, it is likely you will be able to add that person to your reservation. There will, of course, be an additional charge for that person's
theme park ticket and
Disney Dining Plan. If that person is over 18 years old, there will also be a charge to add a third, fourth or fifth adult to your room reservation. (If you are the only person on the reservation, there is no charge to add a second adult to the room.)
If, however, adding a person to your package would require that you add an additional hotel room to your reservation, that could pose a problem. If you booked a vacation package under a
Special Offer that is no longer available, you may not be able to get the same deal on the second room. But the best way to find out is to call the Walt Disney Travel Company or the travel agent you used to book the original reservation to see how adding an additional person would impact your vacation package. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your eager friend or family member will be traveling with you soon.
Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
Jill
