Hi there, Tucker, and welcome to planDisney!
Going on a Disney World vacation is on my mind, too, Tucker. But, then again, when is it not?! There's nothing a DOLE Whip, a Mickey pretzel, a fireworks show, and a ride on
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad can't fix. It's my pleasure to show you exactly how you can make payments toward your own Disney adventure.
You can most definitely make payments toward your upcoming vacation, but only for a
Disney Vacation Package. This includes a Disney Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, which makes it a good and easy way to start planning your trip. With a package, you can put down a deposit when you book it. From there, you can make payments for as little or as much as you'd like until the entire balance is due (at least 30 days before you arrive).
You can make payments toward your Disney Vacation Package in your
My Disney Experience online account on whatever schedule fits you best. I know that many Guests like to pay monthly for consistency. The payments are not automatically withdrawn from your registered credit or debit card, so you'll want to keep track of your balance.
If you book a room-only hotel reservation, you'll pay a deposit and pay the rest once your vacation begins. And any separately purchased theme park tickets need to be paid in full right away. Booking a trip
via a Cast Member, through the official Disney World website, or a third-party travel planner Disney Vacation Package is the way to go if you want to make payments throughout the year.
AN EXTRA GEM: Here's a yummy tip! For those who like to pay for their meals in advance, add on a
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package. You will be given a certain amount of credits to spread throughout your Resort and theme park days. The value is pretty good!
Tucker, thanks for stopping by to ask us your question. If you need help before, during, or after your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth,
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
