Hi, Clara! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited you've chosen October to visit Walt Disney World. That happens to be my favorite month to visit for two reasons, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. But before we get to the treats, let's talk about the tricks for saving you some money. Then, you'll have more to spend on the treats. It's truly the Circle of Life!
The best place to get started is by visiting the
Walt Disney World website. From there, I like to go to the
special offers section. If you don't see any special offers listed for your dates that you qualify for, keep checking back, and keep an eye on
The Disney Parks Blog and Disney official social media channels for any announcements on fall offers. I also like to save money on food by snacking a lot and having just one full meal per day.
Another money-saving tip for you to consider is to spend at least one day enjoying your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. I like to plan a resort day in the middle of my trip to rest and recharge. There are many resort activities that are complimentary to Guests or that have nominal fees. Plus, I'm always happy with a resort pool day.
I know we are talking about saving money, but I just can't help but recommend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I like to time this to coincide with one of my resort days. Nothing beats trick or treating in my Halloween costume and watching Mickey's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, which is the fireworks show during the party. And don't miss the Headless Horseman ride before the Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.
Also, make time for
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which is included in your admission when you visit EPCOT. I love taking in an Eat to the Beat concert, and of course, I cannot resist purchasing some snacks and beverages in the many Global Marketplaces.
Clara, I hope you have an amazing trip and that you come back to visit us with more of your trip planning questions.
Have a magical trip!
Melanie
