Hello there, Shelley! Welcome to planDisney.
Sometimes, you have to plan around some important life things...and know the policies for if things change last minute. That's why it's so important to know the
Terms & Conditions of the vacation package you are booking, so I'm happy that you reached out!
Currently, as you stated, if you book a
vacation package (
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation
and theme park tickets booked together) 30 days or less before your arrival date, the entire cost of the package is due at the time of purchase. If you cancel your vacation package between 2 and 29 days before arrival, you will receive a refund for the total amount of the package minus the cancelation fee, which, at this time, is $200 (subject to change). It's also important to note that if your package includes any non-refundable registrations, non-refundable travel protection plans, and/or third-party fees, those will not be refunded. If you cancel 1 day before or later (or don't show up), the entire cost of the package is nonrefundable.
Check out the full Terms & Conditions for all of the details!
Now Shelley, my fingers (and merman fins) are crossed that your vacation will happen. It's such
a festive and fun time of the year to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. While Thanksgiving has not yet arrived, Christmas is in full swing at 2 of the parks so far, with more and more popping up every day! And make sure to
check out the Gingerbread Displays when you're there. I can't stop talking about them...and now I'm craving a Gingerbread Shingle cookie! Maybe you could send one back for me? Nah, I'm just kidding...or am I?!?
(insert villainous cackle here)Enjoy your
holiday visit to the resort. Feel free to
reach out again if you have any other questions. I'm always happy to help
make the season bright!
There's no place like Disney for Christmas,
Matt
