    If we book our trip to include one of the dining plans and later WDW offers free dining for the time we are traveling do they honor that and update our reservation?

    Hi Sara,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate it when guests return with more questions. Walt Disney World Resort has offered several Free Dining promotions in the past. You are required to book a package with a full-price room and theme park tickets to receive Free Dining. The Free Dining promotions are not available at every resort and room category. They also sell out very quickly. 

    There is no guarantee you will be able to apply a Free Dining promotion to your reservation. If you see that a Free Dining promotion has been released for your travel dates, you will need to call immediately to see if the promotion can be applied to your existing reservation. In some cases, you will need to cancel your original reservation and make a new one. Last year, Free Dining promotions for the fall were released in late April. If I were you, I would keep a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog next April for any news. I'm sending pixie dust for you to find a promotion that will work for your traveling party and dates.
