Hi! If we book our trip during Disney free dining promo and then want to upgrade to deluxe dining what will the approx. extra cost be? Or do you just have to pay out right for the deluxe plan? I hope this makes sense thank you.

    Hi Stephanie,

Your question makes complete sense to me.  Thanks for posting it to the Moms Panel.

Good news!  If you book a room associated with a free dining promotion, it is definitely possible to upgrade your quick service or basic dining plan.  The price increase will depend on the type of plan you currently have.  The Disney Travel Office (or the local travel agent through whom you booked your vacation originally) will be happy to price out the cost for you to upgrade your dining plan.  You can reach the fine folks at the Disney Travel Office by calling (407) W-DISNEY.

Let us know if you need suggestions for where to use your Disney dining plan credits.  We just love dining questions here at the Moms Panel!

Sending you best wishes for a truly magical vacation,
    Jill
