When can I book my trip to Disneyland for early 2026?

Hey there, hi there, Madison! Welcome to planDisney. We are here for all of your planning questions!

I am excited to hear that you are thinking about a Disneyland vacation in 2026! A January visit is usually a great time to enjoy the parks after the busy holiday time. Are you looking for just tickets, or are you looking to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel? Tickets are available now, and theme park reservations can be booked up to 180 days in advance. This means your dates are available now on the reservation calendar. As far as Disneyland Resort Hotel bookings or Disneyland Resort Hotel Packages for 2026, these should be available for booking soon! Historically, we tend to see these bookings open up late August or early fall.

As you begin your planning, I would also keep checking the Disney Parks Blog. Towards the end of the year, they will usually put out a post with important dates and events for the following year. I haven't seen any official word yet, but typically, the Lunar New Year Celebration goes on from mid-January through mid-February. This is such a fun celebration happening in California Adventure. Our family loves visiting marketplace kiosks to try some new food and beverage options and checking out the special entertainment as well.

Madison, I hope your planning can start soon! You know where to find us for any other planning questions you might have!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
