Hey, there, Marianne, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!
Planning a Walt Disney World vacation can involve so many important decisions. From
where to stay to
where to dine and everything in between, there are tons of factors to consider when it comes to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Of course, of all these important decisions, one of the biggest is always
when to go. But we all know that even the best-laid plans can go awry - so what happens when you need to modify the dates of your Disney World vacation? Let's check it out!
Marianne, I'm happy to report that you're not necessarily stuck with the dates you originally chose for your visit. If you need to change the dates of your vacation package, you can generally do this through the Walt Disney World website or your
My Disney Experience app. You can also make changes by calling the
Tickets & Hotel Reservations line to speak with a Disney Cast Member. Be aware that any changes will be subject to availability, and that certain modifications may alter the price of your package. Be sure to make your changes at least 30 days before your arrival date if possible, since modifications to your package after that date will likely incur a fee.
Now, if you're still deciding when to reschedule your trip, I'd love to share a few of my favorite times to visit. If the holiday season is an option, I always recommend late November or early December, when Christmas spirit meets Disney magic! You'll enjoy holiday cheer throughout the parks, and especially at
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. Alternatively, your taste buds will thank you for a fall trip, when you can sip and savor your way through the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Bottoms up!
Marianne, I hope that your trip is full of magical memories, whenever you choose to visit. If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find us right here at

See ya real soon,
Allison
