I would like to book a trip for 4 adults and 3 children, but Whenever I try to make a reservation online it says that our dates are unavailable, even when i change criteria. How can I know what dates are available and which aren't

    Hello Rebecca,

Thanks so much for coming to see us here at planDisney!

It sounds like you're about to sprinkle your very own pixie dust to plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation for some very special Mouseketeers. That's just wonderful to hear!

When you're looking to book a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, whether it's a room-only reservation or a vacation package that includes a Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, you can use the easy online tools to start the process of exploring Resort hotels to begin your booking.

When you begin with the online booking tools, you'll notice that you'll be prompted to enter your check in and check out dates, as well as the number of adults and children in your travel party. As the booking tools are date-based, you'll want to enter your travel dates first to search for availability. The way to know which accommodations are available for which dates is to enter your travel dates and then use the "Find Resorts" button to review the list of Resort hotels that could be an option for you.

If you're looking for accommodations where everyone in your large group can enjoy staying together, you might want to explore the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts and look at a 2-Bedroom Villa. A 2-Bedroom Villa would offer you separate bedrooms, a comfy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer. If your travel party is planning on separate accommodations, you'll want to enter the travel party information for each reservation separately and book each reservation separately.

It's helpful to know you can always reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 and speak with a Cast Member to get assistance with your booking. The online chat service is also a helpful tool for connecting with Cast Members for assistance. You might even notice that a chat invitation could pop up as you're exploring your Resort stay options.

Rebecca, I'm hopeful you'll find the pixie-dust perfect Resort where you can stay in the magic.

Here's wishing you a fun and wonderful vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
