Ahoy, Shana! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. Guests, including myself, are always excited to step foot on one of the Disney Cruise Line ships on embarkation day.
Purchasing a
ground transfer from Disney Cruise Line does not guarantee a Guest an early Port Arrival Time. I am not sure which Port of Call you are sailing from, but once you are ready to make a ground transfer reservation, please
call Disney Cruise Line as soon as possible because the availability of transfers is limited. When you are completing Online Check-In and have already booked a ground transfer, you do not need to select a Port Arrival Time. One will automatically be selected for you.
In my experience, the boarding process is efficient, so even if your port arrival time is later, the fun will still be waiting for you on Disney Cruise Line. You can go directly to eat lunch at
Cabanas or Marceline Market, depending on your ship, or to the pool deck and eat at one of the casual dining locations.
Shana, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers. We are here to help!
Adventure is out there!
