Greetings, Aynsley and welcome to
planDisney!
I’m so happy to see your question here and that you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort during our Canadian March break timeframe – you’ve selected a great time to visit
The Happiest Place on Earth, congratulations!
Aynsley, I recommend purchasing your tickets by signing into your Disney account and selecting the
Theme Park Tickets link beneath the
Parks & Tickets tab on the main website page. You will be able to select the number and length of adult and children’s tickets (the 1-year-old will be a Guest of Mickey Mouse) and any added ticket options such as the
Park Hopper and/or the
Disney Genie+ service during your ticket selection.
As soon as you purchase your theme park tickets you should be prompted to secure the required
Theme Park Reservations for those tickets for each day of valid admission – this is the process of visiting the theme parks at this time. If you are not prompted to secure Theme Park Reservations after your ticket purchase, you can easily do this yourself by selecting the
Ticket and Reservation Details beneath the
My Disneyland planning tab on the top right of the main page. You will also be able to access your tickets from the Disneyland App and I encourage you to ask the adults to also download the app to store their ticket information so that everyone will be able to share planning.
Once the adults download the
Disneyland App they can link their tickets to their Disney accounts including the tickets of their children. To link the tickets on the app please sign into the app, and select the Feature Menu (three stacked lines on the bottom right) to arrive at the
Welcome page. From there, tickets can be linked by selecting the
Tickets & Passes tile or scrolling down to the
Link to Account to either enter the Ticket ID manually or scan the barcode.
Aynsley, if you are still considering accommodations, keep a close watch over any periodic
Disneyland Resort – Special Offers & Discounts to enjoy a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package where you will enjoy the convenience of proximity and many
benefits as a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, for example, has a direct entrance to Disney California Adventure Park, imagine that! I remember enjoying the pool at Disney’s Grand Californian and then popping over to
Grizzly River Run on a whim – it was so much fun! With an infant, being so close to your Disneyland Resort Hotel would make naptime so much easier.
Aynsley, it was such a pleasure helping you today, please stop by planDisney for more first-hand tips to optimize your visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
