Can i book a stay at Wilderness Campground for several families in March 2023? Can we have their campsites close together? Can we have a combo of our own RV’s (2) and cabins or WDW housing? Where can i find more info about Wildness Campgrounds

Hey there, Margaret! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question. It's my pleasure to help you out with your Disney vacation planning!

If all you want is adventure in the great, wide somewhere, then The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are perfect for you. These idyllic campsites will make you feel like you have escaped Orlando and stepped into the American frontier. You'll love being surrounded by hundreds of animals, charming trails, great pools, and amazing entertainment, so I promise that you won't want to leave.

Did you know that there are four different types of campsites for you to choose from? In fact, they can accommodate everything from small tents to large RVs, and they're all equipped with state-of-the-art amenities like water, cable television, electrical hook-ups, picnic tables, and outdoor grills. Like I said, they're awesome and super relaxing!

Margaret, you can absolutely book multiple campsites for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation on your own, but you'll need to do it under separate reservations. In order for you to do this, you'll need one adult to act as the figurehead for each one of the reservations, and they will all need to create and hold a My Disney Experience account. However, if you would like to make this process a little less daunting for you, I highly encourage you to speak to a Cast Member at (407) 939-5277. I think this would definitely be the best option for you, because Cast Members can help you book multiple campgrounds at one time, and you can even request for them to be close to each other!

Please keep in mind that the campsites are currently showing no availability due to refurbishments, but since your Disney vacation is still over a year away, I wouldn't worry! Just keep checking back to see if there's any updates regarding its reopening. Please don't hesitate to come back with any other questions you may have, Margaret!

    See you real soon,
