If we book our stay at a WDW resort hotel, but use the Military Promotion Tickets can we have the Military Tickets linked to the Magic bands as well? Are they free with a WDW resort stay and is there a charge for them if we stay at SOG?

    HI Jessica,

Thanks so much for your question and for stopping by the Moms Panel! Since they are currently being used as your room key, along with many other amenities, all guests of a Walt Disney World resort are given MagicBands. Both the Armed Forces Salute and the military discounted MWR/ITT tickets can be linked to your MagicBand. It's very easy to do:
    • Find the 10 to 12 digit number on the back of your voucher.
    • Open your My Disney Experience account and click on the My Reservations and Tickets section.
    • Look under the Tickets and Passes section, and click the Link Tickets button.
    • Place each voucher number into your account. They can also be assigned to MagicBands once this step is completed.

If you decide to stay at Shades of Green, you will have to purchase your own MagicBands, but again, you will still be able to connect them to your My Disney Experience account once you purchase them. MagicBands can be purchased within any Walt Disney World theme park, or in Downtown Disney.

I hope this answered your question, Jessica. If you have any other questions before your vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time. See ya real soon!
