There’s no doubt that the theme parks are the star of the show, but the wonderful
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are a big part of what makes Walt Disney World vacations so magical. Their fun themes and decor, delicious dining locations, comfortable rooms, and a wide range of price points make staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel a great option for any vacation.
While reservations are open for booking for most of 2027, it appears that dates in November and December 2027 are not available quite yet. These dates will become available later in 2026, likely in the fall based on previous years. When reservations become available, you can book through the Walt Disney World website or by calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. The Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite hotel at Walt Disney World, and I know you’ll have an amazing stay there. Its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and Monorail are real selling points, but it’s the pools and
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto that keep me coming back time and time again. If you visit Trader Sam's, be sure to order a Hippopoto-Mai-Tai and tell the skippers that Matt from planDisney sent you. They won’t know what you’re talking about, but you’ll have a delicious beverage.
