I want to book a stay of 2 nights in a studio at one resort, followed by 6 nights in a 1-bedroom. A total of 8 nights. Can I do this? Or is the limit 7 nights ?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Eileen! I'm so glad you dropped by with your question.

Eileen, as a guest who always wants to add on extra nights to our Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I appreciate this question. I'm happy to share with you that, assuming the Disney Resort Hotel you desire has availability, you are absolutely allowed to stay 8 nights. In fact, I have an 8-night stay coming up at Disney's Beach Club Resort in 2024.

Now, Eileen, I have also been in a situation like you described where we switched rooms part of the way through our trip. In this case, please note that you will technically have two reservations with two check-in and check-out dates (even if you stay at the same resort). This is particularly important when you are making dining reservations as you'll have two initial booking dates. This also means that you'll book these separately.

No matter where you decide to call your "home away from home" when you next visit, I hope you have a pixie-dusted stay! Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions you might have.
