Welcome to planDisney, Carly! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. It's awesome that you're planning to make the most of your time at Walt Disney World with a
14-day Magic Ticket. That's a whole lot of magic packed into one vacation!
So here's how it works:
Resort Hotel perks are tied to your resort stay, not to your ticket length. That means while you're checked in and staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you'll enjoy all the fabulous benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary
transportation throughout the property, and being able to book
Lightning Lane selections up to 7 days in advance.
Once you've checked out of your resort at the end of your 7-night stay, you'll still be able to use the remaining days on your 14-day ticket to visit the parks, hop around, and enjoy all the fun, but you won't have access to resort-specific perks anymore. That includes the things we talked about earlier, like Early Theme Park Entry and the extended Lightning Lane booking window, both of which are only available while you're a registered guest at a Disney Resort Hotel.
If you're thinking about extending the magic and want to keep those benefits going for your second week, you could always look into splitting your stay between two resorts, or adding a few nights to your reservation, if availability allows!
I hope this answers your question, Carly, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
