How do you book the shows etc on the app..do you have to pay your balance first to book them

    Ahoy Steve!

So happy to SEA you here at planDisney today to chat all about your upcoming Disney Magic at Sea voyage!  As you are already aware, there have been some tweaks for these itineraries in that Guests need reservations for certain activities. I’ve outlined some of them below, but you can also check the Disney Magic at Sea Experience Updates for current information. And since you asked, the final payment deadline for Disney Magic at Sea sailings is 30 days prior to sailing (except for Stateroom Categories with Restrictions), so you would have to have your cruise Paid in Full before being able to make these advance reservations anyway.

Live Shows in the Walt Disney Theatre: Be sure to check 30 days before setting sail to select a date and time for a live stage show inside the Walt Disney Theatre. Reservations can be made online or through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on a first-come, first-served basis. FYI: each Disney Magic at Sea itinerary will offer one West-End-style live show performed multiple times at a reduced capacity. Additionally, the 4-night cruises will also include a live variety show.

Pool Deck: To access the Goofy’s Pool Deck Area and AquaLab Deck Area, you’ll have to join a virtual queue using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard the ship. You’ll receive a push notification on your phone letting you know when it’s your turn to soak up the sun or splash around the pool deck area, including 2 family pools, a kid’s splash area and lounge chairs.

Fitness Center: Guests can reserve one 45-minute session in the Fitness Center each day of their voyage. Reservations must be made online or via the Disney Cruise Navigator app beginning 30 days prior to sailing. To participate in a fitness class, Guests will need to make a reservation once onboard using the app. These are both available on a first come, first served basis.

Youth Clubs: Parents must register their children for Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab during the Online Check-In process. Prior to setting sail, Youth Club sessions can be booked online or via the Disney Cruise Navigator app. Guests can book one session per day on a first-come, first-served basis, including a 1.5 hour-long session on Embarkation Day and a 2.5 hour-long session during days at sea. Depending on availability, Guests can also register their children and book session times onboard using the app. Meanwhile, both Vibe and Edge will be open and do not require a reservation.

Steve, you don’t need a reservation to visit us again at planDisney, so chart a course our way if you think of other great questions.

    Happy Sailing!
