How are ya Teresa and welcome to planDisney!
Large parties are always a ball at the Walt Disney World Resort. I should know since my family is huge and pretty close-knit. For us, our upcoming fall trip with 10 family members feels small! But I also know that traveling with that many people takes a little extra doing. Let's try to get your group a little order for the fun ahead.
Booking 3 separate
Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms is absolutely a possible feat for your group to accomplish. Be aware that those 3 rooms will come with 3 different reservation numbers. You can call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Cast Members at 407-939-1936. They'll be able to get all of your rooms booked at the same time and even help you with making room requests. If your family is anything like mine, they'll want to try to get rooms as close together as possible to make those late-night card games and silly practical jokes easier. You can also book them via the Walt Disney World Website as 3 separate purchases and make room requests during your
Online Check-In process in the
My Disney Experience app.
Pro-tip: Online Check-In is a must-do. Not only can you make room requests, but you can also enter your approximate arrival time! There have many times that my room has been ready for me way earlier than the standard hotel check-in time just because I had specified that I would be there early. This is, of course, subject to availability but why not try to offer yourself a little immediate pixie dust for the start of your vacation!
If you haven't picked your
Value Resort Hotel yet, let me suggest
Disney's Pop Century Resort. It's my favorite of the value options for its 3 pools and 2 different
Disney Transportation choices, the
Disney Skyliner and the buses. We stayed there twice back to back and would definitely choose them many times again.
Teresa, thanks for your question. If you have any others, please come back again for another chat!
Happy planning!
