I would like to book at Savanna View room with a roll in shower at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Something not to far from the lobby. What rooms numbers should I try to request?

    Hello, Lorraine,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a beautiful resort, and we make it a priority to visit it at least once if not more when visiting Walt Disney World.  It will be especially nice to be so close to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.

When you are ready to book the resort, you will be able to book a Savannah View Wheelchair Accessible room (this will have a roll-in shower). Then, you have a few further options available to you if you take advantage of the Online Resort Check-In before you arrive. One of those requests can be for a room near the lobby. You may also want to consider requesting a lower floor as I think those have better views of the animals since they will be closer to you. While I can't guarantee that they can make those accommodations, if they can you should have a nice room with the features you are hoping to have.

Wishing you a magical trip!  If you have any further questions, please let us know.  We are happy to help. -Kara
