When can I book rooms in a Disney hotel for January 2020?

    Hi Vanessa,

I’m excited to hear that you’re planning a magical getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort for next January! Escaping to Florida to enjoy some sunshine and FUN next winter sounds like a wonderful idea!

I’m happy to let you know that room-only reservations may be made 499 days in advance, so you’re actually able to book a room at any point. If you’d like to book a Disney Resort Hotel Package, those have historically become available to book mid-June of the year prior to your travel, so you’ll just to wait a few more short months.

After you decide which amazing Disney Resort hotel you’d like to book and how long you’d like to stay, I’d encourage you to start thinking about where you’d like to dine. You’ll be able to begin making dining reservations 180 days in advance, and some restaurants are quite popular and full up very quickly. With fun character dining opportunities, entertaining dinner shows, and a wide variety of delicious Table-service choices, you’ll find the perfect restaurants to please every palate.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa, and please feel free to stop by again with any other questions as you’re planning your trip. We’re always here and happy to help. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
