Can you book a room-only reservation with a Disney Visa Rewards Redemption Card?

Hiya, Stacey! Thanks for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I feel like Disney Visa Cardmembers have their own special kind of pixie dust. Every time I swipe at the gas station or grocery store, it helps me pay for my next vacation to my Happy Place!

You'll want to log into your Disney Visa account at and click the button that reads "Manage Account." When you do this, a screen will appear with your Disney Rewards Dollars available for transfer. I always make sure to carry my Redemption Card in my wallet, as it can be used at most Disney locations, including Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays. I save my card, and before each trip, I reload it online so I can use it instantly!

You can certainly use your Redemption Card to pay for a Room Only reservation. If you book it online through My Disney Experience, there will be an option to add your card at check out once you have placed your reservation in your cart. Alternatively, you can call (407) 939-1936 and speak to a Cast Member in the Reservations department.

You'll be traveling at the perfect time of yEAR to experience the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I like to use my Redemption Card to snack my way through World Showcase at the Global Marketplaces. The Maple Bourbon Boursin Cheesecake should be on your list of must-try treats...I'm still thinking about it!

    Have a magical trip, Stacey!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
