Would like to book a room for my 20 year old daughter and friend. Do I need to book under her name? They do not have credit cards. Can I put my credit card on their magic bands for them to pay for meals, etc? so they don't have to carry cash?

Hello Debra and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Any reservation must be booked in the name of one of the adult Guests staying at the resort hotel. Additionally, at check-in, one of the adults will need to produce a credit or debit card as well as a matching photo identification. Disney does not place any hold on the card and will only charge it if they charge up to the hotels preset limit or the morning of checkout- whichever comes first. I can certainly understand preferring to not carry cash. When my family travels to the Walt Disney World Resort we set our budget and then purchase Disney gift cards. We keep them in our rooms safe until the evening before our departure when we pay our balance at the front desk.
