Hello, when can I book a room only reservation for a December 2023 vacation at either a Disney World resort or Disney off property resort?

Hello there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your future vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

The holidays are a particularly magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many special offerings that take place and Guests can see the entire property dressed up in the finest holiday decor. This includes the magnificent, life-sized gingerbread house at the iconic Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests are even able to purchase treats from the gingerbread house including pieces of the shingles that make up the roof! I highly recommend taking the time to stop by and sample some of the delicious treats while taking in the beauty of this resort!

Typically, Guests are able to book room-only reservations with the Disney Resorts Collection up to 499 days in advance. However, there have been some updated policies over the last year that have impacted this number. At this time, Guests can make their reservations into 2022. I would highly recommend keeping an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort vacation website over the next few months to see when booking for 2023 will open.

It may also be helpful to check out the “Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go” webpage regarding any updates that may take place! On this webpage, you will find a wealth of information regarding any policy changes or modified experiences that may impact your vacation. This includes re-opening timelines for the various Disney Resort hotels, available amenities, and much more!

Best of luck as you continue to plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can provide any additional information along the way!
