    When you book a room only at one of the WDW resorts, is the balance due on check in or check out?

    Hi Christina,

    Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel! When you book a room only, a deposit equivalent to one night is taken at the time of reservation and the balance due is taken upon check in. If you do online check in, (which I highly recommend), it is taken on the day of your arrival using the card you placed on file.  I stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach last month and a hold was placed on my credit card for the balance due amount and the charges were finalized at the end of my stay.  Hope this answers your question Christina.
