I want to book a room at one of the Disneyland resort hotels and it says a standard room will sleep up to five adults. We will have 2 adults, and 4 kids (7, 7, 5, and 4). We can easily fit all of us into a standard room. Does Disney allow this?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tonya!

I only stay at Disneyland Resort Hotels whenever I visit because I love the short stroll to the parks and we always take advantage of Extra Magic Hour every day of our stay. Due to fire safety regulations, the number of occupants allowed per room is strictly enforced. So, for your family of six, you would need to reserve two rooms or a suite. There are one-bedroom suites offered at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels that would provide your family ample space to sleep and relax. If you choose to book two hotel rooms, you can request adjoining rooms when making your reservation. Just keep in mind that requests can't always be accommodated.

I hope this helps. Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have. We love helping guests plan magical vacations to the Happiest Place on Earth!
