Can I book a room at a Disney resort now then add tickets and dining later?

Hi there Angie, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, I'm thrilled to help! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort will be here before you know it. You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

You can purchase your Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets separately from your hotel reservation. I have done this in the past when I'm not certain what my daily itinerary will be. Once you've purchased your tickets online, they will be added to your My Disney Experience Account. The Disney Dining Plan, however, is only available to Guests who book a Disney Resort Hotel Package, which includes both a stay at a Disney Resort hotel and theme park tickets. You can do this by selecting the Disney Dining Plan when making a reservation.

Angie, if you haven't already, l would also recommend that you take the time to download the My Disney Experience app before you arrive! During your trip, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, access virtual queues, and even mobile order food! I love the convenience of ordering ahead and not waiting in line!

I hope you find this information helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
