When can I book a room / dining package for the first week of 2019?  Would like more time to prepare. Thanks,

    Hi, Laura!

You must be super organized to know your 2019 vacation dates. I am quite impressed by your planning skills!

Booking for 2019 will be open around mid-summer of 2018, so you have some time until making your reservations. But, this is a good thing! In the meantime, here are some fun ways to prepare:

-Start a vacation savings jar. Toss in spare change and extra dollar bills. It will certainly add up and the total can be put toward your vacation deposit or used for souvenirs and snacks during your trip.
-Make a countdown calendar. A paper chain is always fun, or just place a small chalkboard in your kitchen where you can countdown to your vacation.
-Do some research on all the Disney Resort hotels. Read reviews and hotel amenities. You can then book the perfect hotel when 2019 rates become available.

Your ability to book is still over a year away, but you can start "wishing upon a star" for a magical vacation to Walt Disney World! Happy Planning to you!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
