If you book a room with a concierge are kids allowed in the lounge?

    Ahoy, Flora!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for dropping anchor with your fantastic question. I’m thrilled to hear you’re considering a Concierge stateroom for your Disney Cruise—it’s a truly magical way to sail!

Kids are absolutely welcome in the Concierge lounges, so the whole family can enjoy the elevated perks and pixie-dusted amenities together. Each lounge offers an array of beverages like sodas, juices, and coffee, as well as tasty snacks that rotate throughout the day. The lounge hours typically run from around 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, but these times may vary by ship. Your kids can grab a snack, play a board or card game, or enjoy some Disney cartoons on the lounge’s TV—talk about keeping the Disney magic going even when you're not out exploring the ship! Just be mindful of other Guests and supervise younger kids to keep things smooth sailing for everyone.

In the evenings, the Concierge lounge also offers a selection of complimentary alcoholic beverages for adults to enjoy. It's a perfect opportunity to unwind while the kids dive into their favorite Disney treats or games. Additionally, Concierge Guests are often treated to a private character meet-and-greet during the sailing. This exclusive event is a fantastic way to get up close with some of your favorite Disney characters without the usual lines—talk about VIP treatment!

And let’s not forget the Concierge sun deck! This exclusive area is the perfect place to relax away from the crowds. Kids are welcome here too, making it a great spot for the whole family to soak up the sun or enjoy some quiet time. Whether you’re reading a book while they splash in the nearby pool or simply enjoying a peaceful moment, it’s a slice of paradise at sea.

One of the best things about sailing Concierge is the unparalleled service from the Concierge Hosts. From the moment you step onboard, they’re ready to make your vacation as seamless and magical as possible. If you have favorite snacks or drinks, let them know, and they’ll ensure your stateroom refrigerator is stocked just for you. When it’s showtime, skip the lines and enjoy priority seating at the Walt Disney Theatre—complimentary popcorn in hand, of course!

If your itinerary includes a stop at Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay, Concierge sailing gives you the best shot at reserving one of the coveted private cabanas. While it’s not guaranteed, Concierge Guests have the highest chance of snagging one. A cabana is a perfect retreat for families, offering shade, comfy seating, a stocked mini-fridge, and an outdoor shower to wash off sandy toes after building the ultimate sandcastle masterpiece.

Flora, setting sail as a Concierge Guest is like having your own fairy godmother onboard, sprinkling pixie dust to make your cruise unforgettable. Your kids will love the special touches, and you’ll love the ease and extra magic. May your family’s cruise be filled with sunny skies, smooth seas, and a little extra Disney sparkle.

Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
    Dustin
