Hiya, Alysha!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, I’ll be more than happy to help. You’ll be relieved to hear that I have been in both of these situations. I have even been the Guest that needed to be added and I can tell you with confidence, it’s not a problem.
The only thing to consider, or slightly worry about, is the number of total Guests.
Most rooms can accommodate up to 4 Guests, so as long as you are at or under that, you are good to go. Now how you choose to go about it is completely up to you. I have found it easier to always add the person and then remove them last minute if they are unable to attend. The reason I find this easiest is because then that Guest can be factored into the cost from the beginning and there won’t be any surprise additional fees at the end. If they don’t end up going, then you will get that money back! And in my brain, that’s girl math and practically free money to
shop with. I’m kidding, but you know what I mean.
The same applies with the overall planning, such as
dining reservations. Always include them and then remove them if needed. It’s easier to shrink your party size then add another seat to an existing reservation. Plus, being a part of the overall planning, even if the Guest is still unsure, is always fun!
Alysha, I hope this helps! Don’t forget to give the
Walt Disney Resort a call to add them to your existing reservation. If you need anything else, we’re always here to help!
Happy Haunts,
Shantel
