Can i book just my room and then add my park tickets and dining plan later. I'm afraid i won't be able to pay the full package amount before 45 days prior to my trip. Will i be losing anything by doing it that way?

Well, its not quite that simple, but it can be done.  I actually did this but when I wanted to transition to adding the tickets and dining plan it was a bit more complicated.  If you do book a room, keep it until you have successfully booked the room, dining plan and tickets.  Believe it or not, its a totally new reservation when adding the dining plan.  When I tried to book the package it was more than it was originally but the pendulum could swing the other way, it could be cheaper.  It really is a gamble.  If its a really busy time and you are unsure you will be able to pay by 45 days, keep the room and go from there.  If you add the tickets/dining plan in that 45 day window the total balance will be due at time of booking.  I always purchase the travel insurance as well for our trips.  Wishing you well on your next visit!!!
