If I were to book my room only for 2016 would I then be able to go online and do a package type update for dining plan and tickets once they are released? I don't want it to cost more by doing it separately but I also don't want to not get our room.

    Hi Ashley,

Sure thing!  I have made room-only reservations which I later converted into a vacation package with theme park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan.  I think you have a great idea about booking the Disney Resort hotel that you want now.  If you desire a type of room that has limited quantity or want to vacation during a popular time of year, booking early can guarantee your vacation plans.  Currently you will pay a deposit of 1 night's room rate to hold your room only reservation.  Since you are looking to make a reservation before the actual room rates are released and available online, you should call the number listed on the following linked page for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations.  You will also need to call the same number when the room rates are released to have your room-only reservation converted to include theme park tickets and Disney Dining Plan.

Ashley not only can you convert your room-only reservation to a vacation package, you can also apply any Special Offers that you qualify for when they are released as well.  It's a win-win!
