Welcome Home Barry!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I see you’re my kind of planner. We also love split stays and have done so for every one of our trips to the Walt Disney World Resort! My family likes to choose resorts with unique theming so it feels like two vacations in one. It looks like you’ve done the same and have made two great choices for your resorts.
Disney’s Riviera Resort is an amazing experience and you’re going to love the spacious rooms. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you book a dining reservation at
Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera. For me, it the best character breakfast on property.
Animal Kingdom Lodge- Jambo House is one of the best themed resorts on property. It really feels like you're staying right in the heart of Africa.
In order to book both of these rooms using your Disney Vacation Club Points, you’ll need to book two separate reservations. If these are not your home resort you’ll be able to book them 7 months in advance. If one or both of these are your home resorts you can book the home resort at 11 months in advance. Once you book the reservations, you can call Member Services so that they can merge the reservations together into one. This would allow you to book
Dining Reservations and Fastpass+ selections (If Fastpass+ is available at that time) for the entire stay right at the opening of the booking window.
Well Barry, I hope this information finds you well and if anything else comes up for your trip please let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
