If I book Rise of the Resistance for 5pm will I be able to book other rides using my genie+ for rides earlier in the day?

Bright suns, Andrew, and welcome to planDisney! I suspect you might already be at Walt Disney World Resort, so let's look at how Disney Genie+ service can make your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios even more magical.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is available to purchase as an Individual Lightning Lane entry. If you buy it first thing in the morning, you'll choose your return window for a time that suits your day's schedule. The only other way to experience this attraction is to wait in the standby queue. Just keep an eye out for the First Order!

Disney Genie+ service is a separate purchase you can make on the day of your visit. I typically set my alarm and purchase the service around 6:50 AM because guests can make their first Lightning Lane selection at 7:00 AM. You can make a second choice once you've scanned into your first one or two hours after park opening. Genie+ service is entirely separate from purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane entry. You can review the list of eligible attractions online to plan your strategy!

My pal Melanie recently told me about a PhotoPass opportunity at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge you might like. As dark falls on Batuu, look for a photographer lurking in the shadows. You'll find them by the glow of lightsabers! You can pose with the weapon of your choice, and a bonus tip is to ask about holding the Darksaber itself! Our photos turned out to be strong in the Force.

Andrew, I have a good feeling about your visit! Please stop by planDisney anytime. Till the spires!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
