Hiya Rick!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all of your Disney Genie+ questions. While I can't grant you your three wishes, I can get you prepared for your upcoming Walt Disney World trip!
When making selections with
Disney Genie+ or purchasing an
Individual Lightning Lane, you can certainly book rides at the same time. While this is allowed, I would advise against this strategy if you can. You are only allotted an hour to ride an attraction using either service, so if you have overlapping times, you may not be able to get to the next attraction in time. This is especially true if these rides are located on opposite sides of the park, so be conscious of that when making your selections.
With this said, if you are able to stagger the times a bit, you should be able to navigate your day better. For example, if you book Slinky Dog Dash for a return time between 1PM-2PM, book an Individual Lightning Lane for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for 1:30PM-2:30PM. This will give you a buffer if you take a little longer riding the first attraction or take a bit of time venturing to the next. It also allows you to potentially ride two popular attractions back-to-back without having to wait in the standby queues!
Rick, you're arriving just in time to check out many new and returning experiences to many of the parks. The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins next month and will continue throughout the duration of your stay! There are delicious outdoor kitchens to try and beautiful topiaries to see all around. The Magic Kingdom is debuting a new thrill attraction with the opening of
TRON Lightcycle / Run. The nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, is also set to make its return at the beginning of April. I cannot wait to experience each of these on my next visit!
I hope you have a magical time during your visit, Rick!
See ya real soon!
Greg
