Hello there Lynette!
What a wonderful question! You are very considerate to think about canceling your Advance Dining Reservation and not just letting it pass by. There is a new policy that will start October 26th of 2011 which essentially means that if you make a reservation at certain restaurants which require a credit card to hold the reservation and you do not cancel within one day of the reservation, your party will be charged ten dollars for every guest on the reservation ($25 per guest at Victoria & Albert's). To cancel, you will need to contact (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) or (407) WDW-CNCL. On Disney's site on October 25th 2011, this is the current cancelation procedure: Each Walt Disney World Resort restaurant maintains its own cancellation policy. When making your arrangements online or by phone, be sure to check the restaurant's cancellation policy. This will help avoid charges that may apply for cancellations or no shows. To cancel your reservation, visit Disneyworld.com/reservations or call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).
Yes, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan you will need to tell the cast member and they will be able to assist you with your reservation. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
