Hey, William. Welcome to planDisney.
As Remy says, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." Planning your meals at Walt Disney World is one of the most exciting parts of trip prep, and
dining reservations help make sure you don’t miss out on the "good stuff."
The easiest way to book is through the
My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website. To make a dining reservation in the My Disney Experience app, open the app and tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen. Select "Check Dining Availability," then enter your party size, preferred date, and meal time. You’ll see a list of restaurants with available time slots. Simply choose the option that works best for you and follow the prompts to confirm your reservation.
Reservations open 60 days in advance at around 6:00 AM (ET). If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you get an extra perk: you can make reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days) at that 60-day mark. This is a big help for scoring popular spots like
Cinderella's Royal Table,
'Ohana, or
Space 220 (very helpful during Thanksgiving Week).
Here’s my best advice: make a short list of your "must-dos" and a few backups before your booking window opens. And don't give up if you don’t get everything right away. Plans change all the time, and reservations often pop back up. Once you're on site, you can also check the app for
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability to snag a table last-minute.
Disney dining isn't just about eating, it’s about creating magical memories around the table. Here's wishing you meals that are every bit as unforgettable as the attractions themselves! Happy planning, William.
