Hey there, hi there, ho there, Chantell!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re gearing up for a fun-filled magical weekend with a group of family and friends! I’ll be happy to help with your question.
You can book a
dining reservation via the Disneyland website or
mobile app up to 60 days in advance. The system allows you to book up to 20 guests under a single reservation. Since you have a large group and are about a month from your arrival date, you will want to book as soon as possible.
My pal
Bev is my personal go-to expert for all things dining at the Disneyland Resort! Her
recommended strategy for booking a reservation with a large group is to split the group into manageable parties of around 4-5 people each. If you cannot reserve all parties for the same time, try booking them for back-to-back time slots. Some restaurants’ reservation increments range from 5 to 30 minutes apart.
Once you arrive, speak with a Cast Member at the host stand to ask if your parties can be seated next to each other or nearby. Cast Members always try their best to accommodate, but please keep in mind that this is subject to availability.
Bonus Tip: If you want to get the most out of your experience, I recommend booking a
Character Dining reservation. Within the park, you can have breakfast with Minnie and Friends at
Plaza Inn. Alternatively, you have three options within the Disneyland resort hotels:
Storyteller’s Cafe, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at
Napa Rose, or
Goofy’s Kitchen. My planDisney friends and I dined at Storyteller’s Cafe for breakfast, and it was the perfect jump-start to our park day!
Chantell, I hope this information was helpful and that you all have the most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you need any additional help planning your vacation, please come back and see us again here at planDisney.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
