I want to book a resort and get tickets for November or December of 2027. When will those months open for booking

Hey there, Kathy, and welcome to planDisney!

There's no place like home for the holidays, and the Walt Disney World Resort is ready to welcome you home. November and December are particularly magical times to be visiting. Starting in November, the whole place slowly starts transforming into a winter wonderland filled with seasonal treats, festive decorations, parties like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Jollywood Nights to set the seasonal mood.

Currently, it looks like vacation packages for next year are only available for dates as far out as late October 2027, with no official announcement. Based on prior experiences, I'd make an educated guess to be ready to book your holiday getaway sometime this summer. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the official Walt Disney World Resort website for new dates. You may even want to check out Disney Parks Blog since they usually have their finger on the pulse for all new releases around the parks.

Pro-tip: The holidays can bring crowds looking for their dose of Christmas cheer, so if you're still debating your dates, I'd suggest choosing the week after Thanksgiving and the week after that as a bit of a sweet spot.

Kathy, have the holly jollies, very merriest, most magical time on your vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for a chat

    Happy planning!
