When I book my resort, tickets and dining plan my youngest child will be 9 years old. However her birthday will be the same month as our vacation, will I have to pay adult prices for her for her tickets and dining plan ?

    Hi Crystal!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My son is turning ten years old this year, and I honestly can’t even believe it! I remember being a first-time mom and people saying time will start to fly by, but I didn’t believe them. Wow, I sure was wrong!

Even though your daughter is growing up fast, you can still “Have the Best Day Ever with Your Tween!” There are so many fun experiences that you can all enjoy together. This summer, I plan on taking my son to experience the Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park for his birthday celebration.

Since it seems that you will be checking in after your daughter has already turned ten-years-old, she will no longer be eligible for a youth ticket. Kids 10 and older pay the adult admission rate and, additionally, the adult rate if you are participating in any of the dining plans.

I hope that you have the most magical time! Don’t forget to stop by Guest Services to tell them your daughter is celebrating her birthday!
