Getting a jump start on planning your enchanted vacation at Walt Disney World Resort will keep the excitement building until that magical day you arrive. I actually begin my next adventure before I leave my current Disney vacation. I just love having a Disney trip on my calendar.
Disney Vacation Packages are released periodically. We do not know exactly when but they are usually around six months before they begin. If you have a Disney Resort and Ticket Package booked and a
Special Offer becomes available you may book the Special Offer. You may or may not be able to convert your existing reservation to the Special Offer. We have had it both ways. We have been able to convert and other times we have needed to first book the Special Offer and then cancel our previous reservation. Why you ask? There is an allotment of rooms that are set aside for each package. Once this allotment is depleted the package is no longer available and we do not want to lose our booked package before securing another. If this happens you would either need to choose a different Resort Hotel level (Deluxe, Moderate, or Value) or keep your current vacation package.
