Hey there, Karey! Welcome to planDisney!
Hopefully, you aren’t thinking about canceling because you’re worried you’ll do what frozen things do in summer. You never know, maybe
The Most Magical Place on Earth can work out your own personal flurry during your visit? With
The World’s Most Magical Celebration in full swing, now is definitely not the time to miss a trip to Walt Disney World. But in reality, is it ever a good time to miss out on a trip to Disney World?
Karey, when you book a Walt Disney World reservation 31 days or more before your arrival, a $200 deposit per reservation is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. The good news is that paying for your Walt Disney World Vacation comes with tons of flexibility. According to the
resort package Terms and Conditions, if you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your arrival all amounts paid will be refunded. Including the $200 deposit. If you cancel inside of the 30-day window, a cancellation fee of $200 is assessed - meaning that you won’t receive the deposit back in this scenario. Unless you cancel the day before your arrival, then the full price of your package is non-refundable.
I hope this helps, Karey! If you have more questions while you plan,
stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!
To Infinity and Beyond,
PG
