hi, we would like to book a resort hotel with free dining plan. When we travel our 2 children will be 6 and 2(son will be 3 a few weeks after returning). obviously we will not get free dining for our son. How will it work with him eating and us on plan

Zoe, who doesn't love free food? The chance to enjoy Mickey ice cream bars, breakfast with your kids' favorite characters, and cuisine from around the world all on the mouse is hard to beat.

Since your son is two he will be able to eat off your plate or you may order him his own kid meal and pay out of pocket. At buffets sharing is quite a good deal, but there will probably be times you want to get him his own chicken fingers or hamburger if he is a hearty eater, especially at quick service restaurants. You may use your Key to the World Card or MagicBand, cash, or credit card to pay for expenses not included with the Disney Dining Plan such as gratuity, alcoholic beverages, or a meal for your young prince.
