If I book my resort and ddp through Disney and buy tickets elsewhere, do I lose any benefits of booking everything through Disney?

Hi Sarah! Thank you for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

In short, the answer is no, you absolutely won’t lose any benefits by purchasing your tickets from an outside vendor. However, I would recommend looking at all the various packages that Disney has to offer as they can make the planning process so easy.

As a side tip, if you do purchase tickets through a third party it would be best to bring the certificate to any theme park ticket window and have them exchange it for an admission card. You shouldn’t have to do this once the ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account but sometimes it’s a good idea to play it safe to ensure there are no issues with your tickets.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
