Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Chelsea! Thank you for visiting us with your question today. It is always great to welcome a fellow British Guest to planDisney. Helping others plan their perfect vacation to Disney Destinations around the world is one of my favourite things to do, and it looks like you will be at
Disneyland Paris in just a couple of weeks - how exciting!
It looks like you are considering booking reserved viewing for
Disney Tales of Magic at
Disneyland Park. This show premiered this year, and is a magical mixture of fireworks, drones, water and fire effects, plus projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle and all of the building façades down Main Street, U.S.A.!
Reserved viewing is a great way to guarantee an up-close view of the nighttime spectacular with minimal wait times. I have had the chance to experience this for myself, and it really is a special way to end the night. I have checked, and there is no availability for reserved viewing from 20th December to 28th December. I know this is not the news you were hoping for, Chelsea, but this does not mean you will not have the chance to catch this magical show. There will be plenty of space on the hub area, which is between Main Street, U.S.A. and Sleeping Beauty Castle, and all the way down Main Street, U.S.A., too!
To get a spot close to the front in the hub area, I recommend grabbing a coffee and some snacks (I highly recommend the macarons from the
Boardwalk Candy Palace) and then grabbing a spot at least two hours before showtime. If you are happy to watch from Main Street, U.S.A., where you also have the opportunity to catch projections on the buildings, then you can grab a spot about 30 minutes before.
You have so much to enjoy during the
Disney Enchanted Christmas celebration - my highlights have to be meeting Jack Skellington dressed as Sandy Claws and experiencing snow on Main Street - don't worry, you don't have to visit on a snow day to experience the snow, as it snows every day during this season at Disneyland Paris - magic!
Whilst I couldn't give you the answer you were hoping for, I hope this helps you plan your evening at Disneyland Park. I wish you a very merry time visiting my favourite holiday destination in Europe! If you have any further vacation planning questions, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
See ya real soon!
Matt
