The answer to your question about booking for others depends on the type of reservation you are making.
Dining reservations can only be managed by the person who made them. You can add other Guests to the reservation so they appear in their plans, but the primary contact cannot be removed from the reservation. And the primary contact is needed to check in on the
My Disney Experience app or
in person at the restaurant.
Many
Enchanting Extras, like
Savi's Workshop,
Wild Africa Trek and
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, can be booked for people in your
Family & Friends list. When you make the reservation, you can choose which Guests to include. If available, these are easy to reserve for your family and friends. You would still manage the reservations, so if they need to change or cancel, they would likely need to contact you to coordinate.
If you are starting at the beginning of vacation planning, hotel reservations and vacation packages work similarly. You can select Guests during the reservation booking process, and the person making the reservation does not have to be among them. If using a discounted rate, such as any available to Florida residents or Annual Passholders, the terms would apply to the people staying in the room, not to the person planning the vacation.
You may want to review the
cancellation policies for dining and any other reservations you make, since you will be managing them. For activities in the Enchanting Extras Collection, you can typically find this information in the "Know Before You Go" section on the extra's web page.
